Jazz is a fine example of a traditional piebald cob STALLION 15.2 hands high with 10 1/4 inches of bone. Chosen from a field with some 30 mares and foals at 3 month old in 1993, he is a genuine romany cob. With good conformation and elevated action he has suberb presence, and great manners, he is a proper gentleman. He has bred some suberb sport horses when crossed with TB type mares, many of whom can be viewed elsewhere on the site, as well as traditional types. His offspring all inherit his excellent temperament. He has produced so far nearly 70% coloured foals from plain mares. He is being regularly ridden out and is looking really good. Due to other commitments we have never shown him, but we are quite sure that he would have done really well in the show ring. His fertility is second to none, one vet remarked that his frozen semen was as good as most stallions fresh! Excluding a few mares that have come with problems of their own he has a 100% success rate including AI.
